We finally tried Popo's on Sixth! We had a very early day work day today & are feeling super tired, so we ordered dinner to-go even though there was seating available. The moment we walked in to order, we were greeted so damn kindly while they were all working/prepping for the evening. That local-business-welcomed feeling, you just cannot put a price tag on

HIS: Loco Moco with Braised Brisket. PACKED full of flavor! Talk about a hearty meal. Oh my goodnesssss  Complete with shallots, mushrooms, miso butter white wine sauce, fried egg & Japanese béarnaise over rice. You cannot go wrong with this meal!

HERS: Kalua Pork with Hawaiian Mac Salad over rice. This Kalua pork is hands down the BEST slow roasted pork I have ever had at any restaurant!!!!  Every single bite, I was totally blown away.

The prices are nothing outrageous, and I feel you absolutely get your money's worth in portions and feeling like you just had a home cooked meal.

Thanks Popo's on 6th!!!! Can't wait to try breakfast!  (also posted on Yelp)

Very unprofessional and dont know how to run a business. I had accepted a doordash at this restaurant and recieved a message at 12:15 that the order was ready for pickup. At 12:25(pickup time) they state that it will be another 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it took 35 minutes before the order was ready. At 1pm when I was finally receiving the order they began to question me as to why I arrived so early. I tried showing them the pick up time and they became very aggressive with me and told me to just leave the food( obviously I could not do this as I had a customer to deliver it to). On my way out they continued to antagonize me. I felt very harrassed and uncomfortable being that I had not done anything wrong.

ALSO THE RESTAURANT IS FULL OF KNATS AND FLIES. DO NOT GO HERE. 0 STARS!!

Wanted to try something new and we've heard a lot about this place so we decided to give it a try.

First off the place is very small and comfy with a minimalist theme which was nice. Beautiful place and cozy environment.

The staff was nice but not very attentive as we never got refills on our drinks.

The food was decent. We ordered the meatloaf, veggie sandwich, and pulled pork. These were pretty good but didn't care much for the pulled pork or the macaroni salad. However the others where very delicious and flavorful.

This is a new up and coming place so I am going to give it some slack because they are still figuring everything out.

Will be back to try again.

I stopped by Popo's for a late lunch, and I was excited to try their food. I was a bit disappointed because the meat in the kalua pork chef special was dry and really salty. I think that the flavor might have benefited if the meat was paired with a sauce. It's located in a nice part of the downtown Tracy area. If I were to come again, I most likely would not order the kalua pork special again.

Popo's is a great little spot for a quiet lunch with a friend. Starting with infused water, relax and order a sandwich or salad. I love the brie sandwich, I've ordered it twice! Friendly staff and unique choices. Check out all they offer! I'll be back soon!
